Hi there! If you’re looking for Nuwave Oven reviews and wondering if it really works then you have come to the right place. Because of our busy lifestyle, it has become easier and more convenient to go out and eat junk than prepare a healthy, sumptuous food for the family. To address that issue, NuWave Oven was introduced to the market, a cooking device designed to create quick, easy, and healthy meals.

So, I’ve decided to do my own research as I’m eager to know how this product could also possibly help improve both lifestyle and budget. Here we’ll share ALL the facts – good and the bad, based on experiences from real customers! We also show the BEST place to buy it right now. (Updated for 2013)

What Is NuWave?

NuWave Oven is manufactured by Hearthware, an American company focusing on products for healthy living and is popular for their kitchen appliances and culinary products. It is a counter-top that combines infrared, conduction, and convection to cook food. According to the company, this instrument can replace dozens of appliances in your kitchen as it does not only cook efficiently but also saves you time and energy. To top it all off, they say independent study has shown that NuWave can actually help you lower your cholesterol level since it’s designed to reduce the amount of fats in all your meals.

How Does It Work?

The oven uses three methods of cooking – conduction, convection, and infrared.

  • Conduction is simply the heat directly applied to the food.
  • Convection is circulated hot air that is produced by the oven’s motor and strategically designed fan to allow the heat to dispense evenly for faster cooking and even browning.
  • Infrared is an invisible, radiant form of heat that is the key heating element in this product. It penetrates inside the food while also browning the outside. With patented infrared rods, NuWave oven ensures your food is evenly cooked inside and out.

How To Prepare Food With Nuwave

  1. First, refer to the quick and easy cooking guide to determine which height the rack should be. It can either be 1 inch or 4 inches high.
  2. Place your food in the oven whether fresh or frozen then close the dome. There’s no need to preheat the oven or defrost. You can also try multi-layer cooking by putting different foods above and below cooking racks to help save both time and energy.
  3. Set the timer, press start, and the oven does the rest of the job for you. It automatically cooks on power level HI. Unless your food requires a lower temperature setting, you don’t need to select the power levels.
  4. Take your meal out of the oven and enjoy your food. The oven will automatically beep once your food is done cooking.

Features And Benefits

  • Touch ‘N Go Panel – It is equipped with easy to use digital controls with adjustable power level settings from 1 to 10.
  • Allows versatile cooking. You can do virtually any type of cooking from broiling, grilling, roasting, baking, steaming, air-frying to dehydrating.
  • Healthy cooking and eating. The oven’s bottom liner pan collects oils and fats that are not good to your diet without compromising the taste of your food. Nuwave oven makes sure your food is even tastier and healthier.
  • Eco-friendly. It cooks fast and easy without consuming much electricity. It doesn’t heat up your kitchen so there’s no need to turn up the air conditioning unit.
  • Triple combo cooking. It employs conduction, convection, and infrared to cook your food evenly, inside and out, making your food more delicious and juicy.
  • Easy to clean. All parts are easy to clean and can be washed separately except for the power head. You can either put it all in the dishwasher or take it over to the sink, and with a little soapy water and sponge, clean the oven in 60 seconds.

Drawbacks

  • Dome is made of plastic which can easily break. This is the downside that most users I found on my research complain about. According to the company, though, they use heat-resistant plastic for safety measures since glass can pose greater risk when it is heated.

The oven works perfectly and never had any problems. Interesting that people had an issue with the plastic dome but I have children and they have never destroyed it. I love the item and it is working great with no issues! :)

I got my nuwave oven over two years a go and the only problem I have had is figuring out temp and cooking time to for zucchini bread or to dehydrate. My daughter has used it several times as well. I am sorry others have had a bad time.
